Who we are
AMO Window Cleaning (ABN 87 224 299 858) is a family-owned window cleaning business based in Sheldon, Queensland, serving the Bayside and Redlands. You can reach us at info@amowindows.com or 0468 740 147.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need in order to quote and carry out the work:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your suburb or property address
- What you need cleaned, and any details you choose to tell us
We collect this when you fill in the quote form on this website, submit an enquiry form on one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, call us, or email us. We do not ask for payment card details through this website.
Why we use it
To prepare your quote, arrange and carry out the clean, invoice you, and answer your questions. If you ask us not to contact you again, we will stop.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to anyone.
Who else sees it
Only the services we rely on to run the business: the email provider that delivers your enquiry to us, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) where you submit an enquiry through one of our ads. They handle your information under their own terms, and only so that your enquiry reaches us.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and advertising
This website uses the Meta pixel. It tells us, in aggregate, how many people visited a page, submitted the quote form, or tapped our phone number, and it lets us show our ads to people who have visited the site. It does not tell us who you are.
You can limit this through your ad settings on Facebook and Instagram, or by blocking cookies in your browser. The website works normally either way.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and business record-keeping obligations, then we remove them.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@amowindows.com and we will respond as quickly as we can.
We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are not happy with how we have handled something, tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
